The down in this duvet is harvested by an old Christian community called the Hutterites, who devote themselves to a simple agricultural lifestyle. On their farm located in southern Saskatchewan, the Hutterite people take great care in raising free-range geese that provide a beautiful puffy white down. St Genève purchases the farms entire production each year making this a very rare and exclusive stock.
The Lajord, like all of our duvets, is carefully hand filled and sewn in British Columbia with the uttermost attention to quality and detail, for the ultimate level of comfort.
We firmly recommend using a clean duvet cover at all times and changing it often to preserve your duvet.
