The outer fabric of this pillow is made with a SoLoft™ 100% cotton, 300 thread count German twill, with no chemical finishes, meant specifically for down. It is dust mite proof, down proof, and piped with a beautiful white satin cording.
Included is a Certificate of Authenticity, which certifies that Genuine Canadian Eiderdown was used to make this pillow. A portion of the sales of our Eiderdown products supports conservation, education and research facilitated by the Duvetnor bird sanctuary.

No, due to its exceptional softness, Eiderdown is not the most supportive material. It’s better suited for duvets. This is why we’ve paired it with a 1000 loft insert, making the Eider Luxe remarkably soft while also being supportive.

Why is Eiderdown so expensive?
Eider Duck down is considered the softest and most luxurious filling in the world. It is also very rare and can only be collected in small portions under certain conditions.
